A simple way to keep smaller WordPress sites online — without another hosting account.
If you’re already a Concierge client, you may have additional WordPress sites that don’t need full care, updates, or ongoing support — but still need reliable hosting.
Unmanaged Sites are designed for exactly that.
This add-on lets you host smaller, low-touch WordPress sites inside Concierge Cloud, without maintaining a separate hosting plan elsewhere. My goal here is to solve the extra hassle for my clients of needing to maintain and manage a hosting account with a separate company just for some old project sites, side hobbies, personal blogs, etc.
Now, you can bring them all into Concierge Cloud and consolidate everything.
What Unmanaged Sites Are (and Aren’t)
✅ What is included
Unmanaged Sites provide hosting only inside Concierge Cloud:
- Reliable, high-performance server infrastructure
- Cloudflare DNS and security configuration
- Server-level uptime and availability monitoring
- Hosting managed entirely by me (no cPanel, no third-party support desks)
These sites benefit from the same underlying infrastructure as Concierge-managed sites — just without ongoing site care.
🚫 What is not included
Unmanaged Sites do not include:
- WordPress core, plugin, or theme updates
- Malware cleanup or site repair
- Performance optimization or tuning
- Backups or restores
- Plugin licensing (Concierge Toolkit)
- Email delivery setup or troubleshooting
- General troubleshooting or ongoing support
If something breaks, it stays broken until action is taken.
This is intentional — Unmanaged Sites are meant to be low-touch.
Think of Concierge as the valet parking. Unmanaged sites are the overflow.
How Support Works
Any hands-on work for an Unmanaged Site is handled via Anytime Credits.
This includes (but is not limited to):
- Investigating errors or downtime
- Running updates
- Installing or configuring plugins
- Fixing issues
- Restoring from backups
- Reviewing performance or logs
This is fully – and personally – managed hosting. By your’s truly. 😎 Your site(s) will be hosted in Concierge Cloud. But, the extent of my management will be server level. Any hands-on work by me on your site will be metered and handled by way of Anytime Credits on your account.
If an Unmanaged Site begins to require regular attention, it may be a better fit for a full Concierge plan. And if the needs of one of your Unmanaged Sites increases, it can be upgraded to a full Concierge plan anytime.
Eligible Sites
The Unmanaged Sites add-on is not intended for larger websites. This is not a way to bring on larger sites with higher demands, lots of plugins, or higher resources. Such sites need to be under standard Concierge care.
Unmanaged Sites are meant for small, low-traffic WordPress sites. Personal blogs, brochure style sites, small business sites with only 5-10 pages. You get the idea. No membership sites. No big WooCommerce stores.
I’ll evaluate the site beforehand to ensure it is a good fit before anything is added.
Add-On Pricing
Migrating extra Unmanaged Sites into Concierge Cloud is a perk which is only available to existing Concierge clients like you. You must have at least one site under full management, enrolled in either Essentials, Core or Platinum.
This is not meant to be a separate hosting plan. It is meant as a convenience for clients – as a way to consolidate their sites under one roof and under one bill. And know that I’m there as your “point man” whenever you need me.
